It is the Administrative headquarter of the North Bank Division. Kerewan is the birthplace of Kitabu Kassama of University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia. Kerewan has the following areas: Dinkareh, Banta SU, Korosumang and Area Council. Dinkareh used to have a very good soccer team called Cannon.
