Oberpfaffenhofen

Oberpfaffenhofen is a village which is part of the municipality of Weßling in the district of Starnberg, Bavaria, Germany. It is 20 kilometers from the city center of Munich. The village is home to a major site of the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt, DLR) and became hence known to a wide audience when, in 1983 the first West-German astronaut, the physicist Ulf Merbold flew to space on board a Space Shuttle in the context of the Spacelab missions.

Puchheim

Puchheim is a city near Munich in the district of Fürstenfeldbruck, in Bavaria, Germany. It has about 20,000 inhabitants, and is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:48|09|N|11|21|E||| | |name= }}. Puchheim is divided into two parts: the old and rural part called Puchheim-Ort and the new part of Puchheim (Puchheim Bahnhof) that was founded when the S-Bahn (a quick train commuting to Munich) was built. Before that there was a big prison camp.

Freiham

Freiham is a district in the Munich borough of Aubing-Lochhausen-Langwied, in the west of Munich, Germany. The district is the location of a large development scheme devoted consisting primarily of housing estates as well as small commercial-use buildings. It is to be serviced by München Freiham railway station due to open in 2009.
