Vach

Disambiguation: For the author, see Vachss. Vach is a district in town of Fürth, Germany since 1972. It is first mentioned in documents in 1059. The village is located between the Rhine–Main–Danube Canal and the Regnitz, into which the Zenn and, further north, the Michaelbach flows. The flood plain of Regnitz and Zenn is listed as a landscape conservation area.

Pegnitz (river)

The Pegnitz is a small river in Franconia in the German federal state of Bavaria. The Pegnitz has its source in the city of the same name at an altitude of 425 m and meets the Rednitz at 283 m northwest of Fürth. From that point on the river is called Regnitz. The Pegnitz is about 115 km long. The river is inhabited by numerous ducks, coots, swans, and gulls.

Trolli Arena

The Trolli Arena is a football stadium in the district of Ronhof in Fürth, Bavaria, and the home ground of Fußball-Bundesliga team SpVgg Greuther Fürth. The stadium was originally opened on 11 September 1910 under the name Sportplatz am Ronhofer Weg gegenüber dem Zentral-Friedhof (English: Sports ground on Ronhof Lane opposite the central cemetery) and today holds a capacity crowd of 15,000.

Kosbach

Kosbach is a village on the outskirts of Erlangen, Germany. The village is known locally for its own Kirchweih festival, the Kosbacher Karpfen Kirchweih, which is a celebration at which carp is consumed en masse. The village is surrounded by carp ponds. The ponds are lined with nets, a month or so before the festival the nets are raised so the fish are off the bottom and the muddiness is rinsed away.
