Oberliezheim

Oberliezheim is a village in Bavaria, Germany about 20 kilometers north of Dillingen. It has a population of 200 and is affectionately known to residents as 'Lieze'. Schloss Duttenstein

Schloss Duttenstein is a Renaissance hunting castle located near the village of Demmingen, which is part of the town of Dischingen in Baden-Württemberg in Germany. The first castle on this site was built between 1200 and 1374, perhaps for the Graf von Oettingen. The Renaissance style castle was built between 1564 and 1572 for the Fugger family. It passed through several owners before the Princely House of Thurn and Taxis acquired the castle.

Battle of Blenheim

The Battle of Blenheim (referred to in some countries as the Second Battle of Höchstädt), fought on 13 August 1704, was a major battle of the War of the Spanish Succession. Louis XIV of France sought to knock Emperor Leopold out of the war by seizing Vienna, the Habsburg capital, and gain a favourable peace settlement.
