Rotenhan Castle

Rotenhan Castle is a castle ruin about two kilometres north of the village of Eyrichshof in Lower Franconia in the south German state of Bavaria. Eyrichshof lies within the borough of Ebern in the district of Haßberge. The castle is the ancestral home (Stammsitz) of the House of Rotenhan, a family of imperial knights.

Creidlitz (Coburg)

Creidlitz is a southern quarter of the Bavarian city of Coburg. Its population is 1,705 as of 2010. It has an area of 2.3 square kilometres . There is a train station in Creidlitz providing access to the lines of Coburg-Lichtenfels, Coburg-Nürnberg and Coburg-Kulmbach.

Rose Garden, Coburg

The Rose Garden in Coburg, Bavaria, Germany, is a park in the Ketschen-outskirts between the Ketschentor (town gate) and the Angerturnhalle (gymnasium). In former times was at that place the Zollbauernwiese, a grassland, which bought the city of Coburg in 1846. In 1906, the Sintflutbrunnen (deluge-fountain) was built by Ferdinand Lepcke at the south-side of the Rose Garden. The zenith of the Rose Garden was in 1929, as the German Rose-Revue was arrangend with 200.000 visitors.

Casimirianum Coburg

The Casimirianum, known to the students as the “Casi”, is a Gymnasium in Coburg, Bavaria. It was founded in 1605 by John Casimir, the Duke of Saxe-Coburg (1564-1633), and named after him. Today the Casimirianum is a linguistic and humanistic high school with the curriculum in the Latin language from 5th Grade, English from 6th Grade, and Greek, French or Spanish as the third compulsory foreign language.
