Treysa station

Treysa station is a train station in Schwalmstadt, Hesse, on the Main–Weser Railway. It was formerly a railway junction, connecting to the Leinefelde–Treysa section of the Cannons Railway. The station is frequented by 2,500 passengers daily. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn (DB) as a category 4 station.

Air Assault Infantry Regiment 1 (Bundeswehr)

The German Army's Air Assault Infantry Regiment 1, in German Jägerregiment 1 (luftbeweglich), is a newly formed Air Assault Regiment and the only formation of this kind within the Bundeswehr. The regiment is part of Airmobile Operations Division. Soldiers of this unit are to be deployed to the combat zone by helicopters which are supposed to provide fire support as well. Until creation of the 1st LIRgt (A), the German Armed Forces had no capability of that sort.

Gombeth

Gombeth is a constituent community of Borken and had its first documentary mention in 857 as "Gumbetta die Marka". Once an independent community, it has now been amalgamated with Borken. Gombeth is surrounded on all sides by brown coal mines, being found to the south, towards Singlis (nowadays the windsurfing lake), and towards Borken. The pit east of Gombeth was filled in by PreussenElektra as part of the renaturation programme.

Hunsrück

The Hunsrück is a low mountain range in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is bounded by the river valleys of the Moselle (north), the Nahe (south), and the Rhine (east). The Hunsrück is continued by the Taunus mountains on the eastern side of the Rhine. In the north behind the Moselle it is continued by the Eifel. To the south of the Nahe, the Palatinate is to be found. Many of the hills are no higher than 400 m.
