Großer Graben and Schiffgraben

Großer Graben and Schiffgraben together are an artificial waterbody with ambigious flows in Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, partly forming the border of both Länder. It is fed by lateral sources and by the humidty of the wetland it passes. The western part of this waterway is an affluent of river Ilse, part of Weser bassin, the eastern part an affluent of river Bode, part of Elbe bassin. The top, almost without flow, is a pseudo-bifurcation and part of the section called Schiffgraben.

Oderwald

Oderwald is a Samtgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the district of Wolfenbüttel, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated along the river Oker, approx. 10 km south of Wolfenbüttel. It is named after the Oderwald, a small chain of hills in the municipality. Its seat is in the village Börßum. The Samtgemeinde Oderwald consists of the following municipalities: Börßum Cramme Dorstadt Flöthe Heiningen

Großer Fallstein

The Großer Fallstein is a wooded hill region in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. It lies in the district of Harz on the territory of the town of Osterwieck, north of the Harz Mountains. Its highest point has an elevation of 288 metres above sea level (NN). The wood that lies not far from the former Inner German Border that ran along the Großes Bruch has an east-west extent of about 4 kilometres and also measures about 4 kilometres from north to south.

Asse (hills)

The Asse is a small hill range in the district of Wolfenbüttel in southeastern Lower Saxony with a median height of 200 metres ASL; the highest elevation is the Remlinger Herse with a height of 234 m. There are more than 600 different plants found here; the Asse is mostly covered by trees. It has been inhabited since the 6th millennium BC by farmers coming from the Danube region. For several hundred years, salt has been mined in Asse.
