Force Attack

Force Attack is a music festival, which is organized every year on the last July weekend in Behnkenhagen in the municipality Süderholz near Rostock. Approximately 50 bands mainly from the genres Punk, Ska, Oi!, Hardcore, Psychobilly and Metal are performing for three days on two stages. As multicolored as the program are the visitors of the festival. The event is claimed to be the biggest punk party in the world.

Rostock Power Station

Rostock Power Station is a bituminous coal-fired combined heat and power plant operated by Kraftwerks- und Netzgesellschaft mbH (KNG), located in Rostock, Germany. Construction on the plant began in June 1991, and test firing and Grid connection were carried out from March to September, 1994. In October of that year it entered normal service. In addition to a generating capacity of 553 MWe, the station also feeds the Rostock district heating net.

Warnow

The Warnow is a river in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern in Germany. It flows into the Baltic Sea near the town of Rostock, in its borough Warnemünde. The source of the Warnow is in Grebbin, a small village 10 km north of Parchim, at the western end of the Mecklenburg Lake District. It flows north through Sternberg, Bützow and Schwaan before reaching Rostock.

German submarine U-3519

German submarine U-3519 was a Type XXI U-boat of the German Kriegsmarine during World War II. The Elektroboote submarine was laid down on 19 September 1944 at the Schichau-Werke yard at Danzig, launched on 23 November 1944, and commissioned on 6 January 1945 under the command of Kapitänleutnant Richard von Harpe.
