The Elde is a river in northern Germany, a right tributary of the Löcknitz. Its total length is 220 km. The Elde originates near Altenhof, south of Malchow. Ludwigslust Palace
Ludwigslust Palace is a stately home or schloss in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, northern Germany. It was built as a hunting lodge, rebuilt as a luxurious retreat from the ducal capital, Schwerin, then became for a time (1765–1837) the center of government. It was the "joy" of Prince Christian Ludwig, the son of the Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, hence the name Ludwigslust.
