Weeze Airport

Weeze Airport or Niederrhein Airport is an airport situated 3.7 km southwest of the small municipality of Weeze in the Lower Rhine (Niederrhein) region of western Germany. It is 7 km northwest of Kevelaer, about 33 km southeast of Nijmegen, Netherlands, and 48 km northwest of Duisburg. It uses the facilities of the former military airbase RAF Laarbruch, and began operations as a civil airport in 2003. Weeze Airport is used mostly by low-cost carriers, mainly Ryanair.

RAF Laarbruch

The former Royal Air Force Station Laarbruch, more commonly known as RAF Laarbruch ICAO EDUL (from 1 January 1995 ETUL) was a Royal Air Force station, a military airbase, located in Germany on its border with the Netherlands. The base's motto was Ein feste Burg ("A Mighty Fortress").

Well, Limburg

Well is a small town of about 2500 residents in the municipality of Bergen in the province of Limburg in the southeastern part of the Netherlands. The town is located between Nijmegen and Venlo. The city of Well can be reached via public transport by using bus line 83 or 30. Nearby attractions include Thermaalbad Arcen, several pancake houses, and a medieval castle in Well itself.

Moyland Castle

Moyland Castle is a moated castle in Bedburg-Hau in the district of Kleve, one of the most important neo-Gothic buildings in North Rhine-Westphalia. Its name derives from the Dutch word Moiland which means "beautiful country". The name was probably coined by Dutch workers, which the former owner Jacob van den Eger of the Lower Rhine had brought to his property to drain the surrounding wetlands.
