Hermann Löns Stadium

Hermann Löns Stadion is a multi-purpose stadium in Paderborn, Germany located in the area Schloß Neuhaus and was opened in 1957. It had a capacity of up to 12,000 and was the home stadium of SC Paderborn 07 football club up until 2008 when it was replaced by the Benteler Arena. Since 2008 it has been used as the home stadium for American football team A.F. C Paderborn Dolphins e.V. It is also used by TSV Schloss Neuhaus for its offices and as one of its sports venues.

Alme (river)

The Alme is a 50 km long river in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is a left tributary of the Lippe, into which it flows near Paderborn. The Alme defines the Alme Valley and flows through the towns Büren, Borchen and Paderborn.

4th (Westphalian) Cuirassiers "von Driesen"

The 4th (Westphalian) Cuirassiers “von Driesen” were a heavy cavalry regiment of the Royal Prussian Army. The regiment was formed in 1717. The regiment fought in the Silesian Wars, the War of the Sixth Coalition, the Austro-Prussian War, the Franco-Prussian War and World War I. The regiment was disbanded in 1919.
