Möckern-Loburg-Fläming

Möckern-Loburg-Fläming is a former Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") in the Jerichower Land district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated approx. 30 km east of Magdeburg. The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft was in Möckern. It was disbanded on 1 July 2012, when Schopsdorf joined the town of Genthin.

Ernst Grube Stadium

Ernst Grube Stadium was a multi-use stadium in Magdeburg, Germany. It was mostly used for football matches. The stadium had a capacity of 25,800 people and was built in 1955. The ground was demolished in 2005 to make room for a new stadium that has been opened in December 2006.

MDCC-Arena is a multi-purpose stadium in Magdeburg, Germany. It has been completed and opened to the public in December 2006, replacing the old Ernst-Grube-Stadion. It is mostly used for football matches and hosts the home matches of 1. FC Magdeburg.

Jahrtausendturm

Jahrtausendturm is, at 60 metres, the third highest wooden tower in the world, after the radio towers in Rottenbuch (Germany) and Gliwice (Poland). It was established on the occasion of the Bundesgartenschau 1999 in the Magdeburger Elbauenpark in Magdeburg, Germany. The tower houses an exhibition on the development of sciences, which is supported by many descriptive experiments with which the visitor can interact.
