Jahrtausendturm

Jahrtausendturm is, at 60 metres, the third highest wooden tower in the world, after the radio towers in Rottenbuch (Germany) and Gliwice (Poland). It was established on the occasion of the Bundesgartenschau 1999 in the Magdeburger Elbauenpark in Magdeburg, Germany. The tower houses an exhibition on the development of sciences, which is supported by many descriptive experiments with which the visitor can interact.

Biederitz-Möser

Biederitz-Möser was a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") in the Jerichower Land district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was situated east of Magdeburg. The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft was in Möser. It was disbanded on 1 January 2010. The Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Biederitz-Möser consisted of the following municipalities: Biederitz Gerwisch Gübs Hohenwarthe Königsborn Körbelitz Lostau Möser Pietzpuhl Schermen

Ernst Grube Stadium

Ernst Grube Stadium was a multi-use stadium in Magdeburg, Germany. It was mostly used for football matches. The stadium had a capacity of 25,800 people and was built in 1955. The ground was demolished in 2005 to make room for a new stadium that has been opened in December 2006.
