Punta de Manabique

Punta de Manabique is a small peninsula that separates Amatique Bay from the Gulf of Honduras. It is located on Guatemala's east coast, some 20 km north of Puerto Barrios . The peninsula was declared a wildlife reserve in 1999. The reserve is covered with tropical rain forests and mangrove forests. The higher parts of the peninsula have mahogany, Manilkara spp. , Chrysophyllum spp. , kapok, while manicaria palms, and palosangre trees are found in swampy areas.

Amatique Bay

Amatique Bay is a large bay in the Gulf of Honduras, along the eastern coast of Guatemala and Belize. It stretches from Santo Tomás de Castilla in the south to Punta Gorda in the north. Livingston, Guatemala

Livingston is the name of a town in Izabal Department, eastern Guatemala, at the mouth of the Río Dulce at the Gulf of Honduras. The town (whose name is occasionally adapted into Spanish orthography as Lívingston) serves as the municipal seat of the municipality of the same name. It was Guatemala's main port on the Caribbean Sea before the construction of nearby Puerto Barrios. Livingston is noted for its unusual mix of Garífuna, Afro-Caribbean, Maya and Ladino people and culture.

Estadio Roy Fearon

The Estadio Municipal "Roy Fearon" is a football stadium located in Puerto Barrios, Guatemala. It is home to third division club Izabal JC (Los Tiburones). Its capacity is 8,000. The venue bears its name in honour of local track and field athlete Roy Alfonso Fearon.

Puerto Barrios

Puerto Barrios is a city in Guatemala, located within the Gulf of Honduras at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:15|43|N|88|35|W||| | |name= }}. The bay in which the harbour is located is called Bahia de Amatique. Puerto Barrios is the departmental seat of Izabal department and the administrative seat of Puerto Barrios municipality. Puerto Barrios was named after President Justo Rufino Barrios in 1884.
