Fáskrúðsfjörður

Fáskrúðsfjörður (sometimes named also Buðir) is a town in eastern Iceland. It has a population of 662 (as of 2011) and constitutes one of the villages composing the municipality of Fjarðabyggð. Professional football player Hilmar Freyr Bjartþórsson is from Fáskrúðsfjörður. He now lives in Kópavogur and plays for Breiðablik.

Breiðdalsvík

Breiðdalsvík is a young fishing town in Iceland. It is part of the municipality of Breiðdalshreppur and is located near Egilsstaðir and Breiðdalsheiði on a very large cove with the same name. With a population of only 139, the town consists mostly of transient guests. The settlement was established in the 1880s but did only come to prominence in the 1960s after the harbour was developed. One activity in the town is fishing in the Breiðdalsá river.
