Shamshabad

Shamsabad is a suburb, located at the south of Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. There is a railway station at Shamshabad by the name Umdanagar, which is part of the South Central Railway, Indian Railways. Shamshabad Village named after Shams-ul-Umra, title of Paigah nobles "Nawab Abul Fateh Khan Tegh Jung, Shams-ud-Daula, Shams-ul-Mulk, Shams-ul-Umrah (Founder of the Paigahs)". It is situated about 32 km from Hyderabad, the state capital, near Hyderabad international airport on Hyderabad to Bangalore NH 7.
