Dharampur state

Dharampur, was a princely state ruled by Sisodia Rajput rulers, which acceded to the Union of India June 10, 1948. It is now located in Dharampur city in Gujarat state, India. It had an area of 1,823 km2 and fell under Bombay Presidency and was given a status of 9-guns salute by British. Today, it is a small, peaceful town with royal heritage and a tourist destination. It is located on Waghai-Vansda Highway, with Waghai just 4 km away.

Wilson Hills, Gujarat

Wilson Hills is a hill station in the Valsad district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is near Dharampur Tahsil and is also the nearest hill station to Surat. Wilson Hills stands in a densely forested region close to the Pangarbari Wildlife Sanctuary. It is one of the few hill stations in the world from which it is possible to glimpse the sea. It has an average elevation of 750m (2500 feet).
