Nedumangad

Nedumangad is a municipality in Thiruvananthapuram district in the Indian state of Kerala. It is a suburb of the extended metropolitan region of Thiruvananthapuram city. It is located around 20 km to the north-east of Thiruvananthapuram city on the Thiruvananthapuram — Thenmala State Highway. It is an important centre for the commercial trade in pepper and rubber. A wholesale market set up by the Department of Agriculture (with the assistance of the European Union) is also situated there.

Bonacaud

Bonacaud is the base station of the famous peak, Agasthyarkoodam in the Agasthya hills. The Agasthya hill range is famous for its abundance of rare herbs and medicinal plants. There is a tea estate in Bonacaud, established by Britishers. The hill resort Ponmudi is near to Bonacaud. Bonacaud(natively called Bonakkad) is now used as a base camp for trekking to Agasthyakoodam. It has lots of shooting locations including the forests, waterfalls and tea estates.

Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology

Mar Baselios College of Engineering and Technology (MBCET), is located in Nalanchira, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. The college is located on a hillock in the Bethany Hills. Agasthyamala Biosphere Reserve

The Agasthyamalai Biosphere Reserve (ABR) was Established in 2001 and includes 3,500.36 km of which 1828 km² is in Kerala and 1672.36 km² is in Tamil Nadu. The Western Ghats, Agasthyamalai Sub-Cluster, including all of Agasthyamalai Biosphere Reserve, is under consideration by the UNESCO World Heritage Committee for selection as a World Heritage Site. Agasthyamala is located in this biosphere area.
