St Mary's Metropolitan Cathedral

The St. Mary's Metropolitan Church, also known as Valiyapally, is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Changanassery and also a Marian pilgrimage centre in Kerala, India. The local christian community in and around Changanachery inherits its faith directly from St. Thomas the Apostle, who formed a christian community of faithful, centered around Niranam in the 1st century. The first church in Changanachery was established in 1177.

Pamba River

The Pamba River (also called Pampa river) is the third longest river in the South Indian state of Kerala after Periyar and Bharathappuzha and the longest river in the erstwhile princely state of Travancore. Sabarimala temple dedicated to Lord Ayyappa is located on the banks of the river Pamba. The Pamba is considered as the Dakshina Ganga (Southern Ganges) due to its association with Kerala's Largest Pilgrim Centre - Sabarimala.

Sacred Heart Higher Secondary School, also known as S.H. , Changanacherry 9°26'44.4588N 76°33'3.888E is a pioneer among the recognized English Medium Schools in the unaided sector in Kerala, India.
