Tuipang

Tuipang,a Mizo name and Tipa in Mara language is a town in Saiha district, Mizoram, India. The famous Palak Lake is situated under Tuipang Civil Sub Division. There are two sections of Original tuipang. One section is known as tuipang 'L'(Lal Veng or lal village) While the other section is known as Vai Veng (Village constituting the outsiders locally known as 'Vai').

Saiha

Saiha or Siaha is a census town in Saiha district in the Indian north-eastern state of Mizoram. It is the Headquarters of the Mara Autonomous District Council, one of the three autonomous district councils within Mizoram. It is located in the South Central part of the state. The word 'Siaha' in the local Mara language is 'Sia' for Masia which means elephant and 'ha' meaning tooth - An elephant tooth. It was a place where a large amount of elephant teeth were found.

Palak dïl

Palak dïl (lit. Palak Lake) or Pala Tipo is the biggest lake in Mizoram state in Northeast India. Pala is a Mara word for the name of the lake while Tipo is the Mara word for lake; it is called Palak Dil in Mizo ṭawng.

Saiha district

Saiha District is one of the eight districts of Mizoram state in India. The district is bounded on the north and northwest by Lunglei district, on the west by Lawngtlai District and on the south and east by Myanmar. The district occupies an area of 1399.9 km². Saiha town is the administrative headquarters of the district. The district has a population of 60,823 (2001 census). As of 2011 it is the least populous district of Mizoram.
