Nos 26 and 108 Squadrons operate from the airfield under the control of No. 18 Wing IAF and Western Air Command. They fly Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 fighter aircraft. It is heavily guarded as many squadrons are located here. The airport lies inside the IAF cantonment.
