Roopangarh Fort

Roopangarh Fort is a former fortress and palace in the town of Roopangarh, Rajastan, India that is today a hotel. The fortress was originally built by, and named after, Maharaja Roop Singh of Kishangarh in 1648. It was sited at strategic point atop a hill to the north of Kishangarh controlling the important trade route to the Sambhar Salt Lake. Around the fort a substantial town grew up that became a centre for artisans and manufacturers.

Makrana

Makrana is a town and tehsil in the Nagaur district of Indian state of Rajasthan. There are more than 210 villages under this Tehsil and it is one of the biggest tehsil in Rajasthan. Makrana is famous for the white stone as marble mined from the mines around it. The Taj Mahal was built from Makrana marble. Makrana is a large town and it has plenty of marble outcrops. Most of the residents in this town work as marble miners.

Sambhar Salt Lake

The Sambhar Salt Lake, India's largest inland salt lake,a bowl shape lake encircles historical Sambhar Lake Town located 96 km south west of the city of Jaipur (Northwest India) and 64 km north east of Ajmer along National Highway 8 in Rajasthan.

Maroth, Rajasthan

Maroth is a village in Nawan tehsil, Nagaur district, in the state of Rajasthan, India. It was a principality granted by Emperor Shah Jehan to Maharaja Raghunath Singh Mertia in 1659 A.D. for his valuable services in the battlefield. It is approximately 11 kilometres from Nawan and the same distance from Kuchaman city railway station. It is a place of archaeological interest for tourists.
