Veeranam Lake

Veeranam Lake is located 14 km SSW of Chidambaram in Cuddalore district in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. 1 km from Sethiyathope. The lake located 235 km from Chennai, India, is one of the water reservoirs from where water is planned to be supplied to Chennai. Sirkazhi

Sirkazhi, is a municipal town in Nagapattinam district in Tamil Nadu, India. It is located 13 km from the coast of the Bay of Bengal, and 250 km from the state capital Chennai. Sirkazhi was a part of Thanjavur district until 1991 and has later been part of Nagapattinam district. The town covers an area of 13.21 km and as of 2001 had a population of 32,228 and is administered by a second grade municipality.
