Roorkee

Roorkee is a city and seat of a municipal corporation in Haridwar district, Uttarakhand, in far northern India. It is on the banks of the Ganges canal on the national highway between Delhi and Dehradun. Mohan Pass

Mohan Pass is a principal pass in the Siwalik Hills, the southernmost and geologically youngest foothills running parallel to the main Himalayas in Sikkim. The main road from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh to Dehra and the hill station of Mussoorie in Uttarakhand cuts through the pass, then crosses the foothills.

Haridwar railway station

The Haridwar Railway Station (Hindi: हरिद्वार रेलवे स्टेशन), station code HW, also known as Haridwar Junction is the only railway station in the holy city of Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. It falls under the Moradabad division of the Northern Railway zone of the Indian Railways. Haridwar was first connected with railways, via Laksar, through branch line in 1886, when the Awadh and Rohilakhand Railway line was extended through Roorkee to Saharanpur, this was later extended to Dehradun in 1900.
