Unlike most other railway stations on the network, tickets are not available for purchase at Thomastown station and must be obtained on the train. Their jersey consists of red and white vertical stripes. In October 2009, Young Irelands were relegated to Intermediate level. They are currently managed by Cathal Fitzgerald. Past managers have included hurling greats such as Pat O'Neill and Kevin Fennelly.
