Dunmanus Bay

Dunmanus Bay is a bay in County Cork, Ireland. The bay lies between Mizen Head to the south and Sheep's Head to the north with the small village of Durrus at the head of the bay. The bay is out of the main tidal flow with no significant rivers flowing into it and is little frequented by vessels. On the eastern shore of the bay are the ruins of Dunmanus Castle built by the O'Mahony clan.

Sheep's Head

Sheep's Head, also known as Muntervary (Irish: Rinn Mhuintir Bháire), is the headland at the end of the peninsula between Bantry Bay and Dunmanus Bay in County Cork, Ireland. The Sheep's Head Way is an 88 km long-distance trail which follows old tracks and roads around the peninsula from Bantry to the headland and back. The trail is very accessible and is well signposted (see image on right). The route combines low and rugged hills with coastline and cliffs.

Lawrence Cove

Lawrence Cove is a sheltered inlet on the north side of Bere Island, West Cork, Ireland, just to the west of the main village of Rerrin. One of the island's ferry services operates from here. It is also the location of a yachting marina.

Rerrin

Rerrin is the name of the main village on Bere Island. The village is located on the north of the island and is next to the sheltered mooring of Lawrence Cove. It is also the name of the townland surrounding the village.
