Rockmills (Carraig an Mhuileann in Gaelic) is a small rural village located in the parish of Kildorrery, in the Avondhu region of County Cork, Ireland. The village derives its name from the large mill that once operated on the banks of the river Funcheon, that runs to the east of the village.

Ballyguyroe

Ballyguyroe, North and South are rural townloads of Farahy in the southern foothills of the Ballyhoura Mountains in north County Cork, Ireland. The local economy is largely agriculture and forestry. The area came into prominence as the proposed location by the Greenstar company for its planned dump - a proposal defeated by the locality at An Bord Pleanála in 2004 and 2008.

Castletownroche

Castletownroche (Irish: Baile Chaisleán an Róistigh) is a village on the N72 National secondary road in County Cork, Ireland. In ancient times, it was known in Irish as Dún Chruadha, meaning Cruadha's Fort. Castletownroche is located on the River Awbeg in the Blackwater Valley about eight miles (13 km) from Mallow. In 1999, the annual National Ploughing Championship was held here.

Glanworth

Glanworth (Irish: Gleannúir, meaning "yew valley") is a village on the R512 regional road, 8 km northwest of the town of Fermoy in County Cork, Ireland. It lies some 40 km northeast of the city of Cork, the county's administrative centre, and 210 km southwest of the capital, Dublin. The combined population of Glanworth East and Glanworth West in 2006 was 1,316, an increase of 8.6% since 2002. Glanworth has a Roman Catholic church, a school, several shops, and ten pubs.

Glenroe GAA

Glenroe Hurling Club is one of the oldest clubs affiliated to the Gaelic Athletic Association. It plays hurling and formerly gaelic football. It plays in competitions organized by Limerick GAA. Located in the Ballyhoura Mountains, County Limerick, Ireland, local parish teams played hurling games from long before the famine of the 1840 and local teams played before the GAA's foundation. Glenroe became an affiliated club in the 1890s after the foundation of the GAA in 1884.
