St John's railway station
St. John's Railway Station was a station on the Isle of Man Railway, later merging with a neaby station of the Manx Northern Railway; it served the village of St. John's in the Isle of Man and was the junction of lines that ran between there and Foxdale, Peel and Ramsey.

St. John's Gravel Line
The St. John's Gravel Line was a very short section of two foot gauge line laid with "jubilee" type temporary rails and sleepers to the easterly side of the Isle of Man Railway station at St. John's and was served by a specially laid siding off the main Douglas-Peel line. Only manual power was employed and the line used a familiar style of tipper wagons. Few photographs of this line exist and it was very much gone and overgrown by the time the railway closed for good in 1968.

Glenfaba
Glenfaba is one of six sheadings in the Isle of Man. It lies on the west of the island and consists of the parishes of German and Patrick. Historically, Glenfaba also included the parish of Marown toward the centre of the island. Geographically the area also includes the town of Peel which is administered separately. The only significant settlement in the sheading is St John's, where the Tynwald ceremony takes place. Glenfaba is also a House of Keys constituency, electing one MHK.
