Jezreel Valley Regional Council

Jezreel Valley Regional Council is a regional council in northern Israel that encompasses most of the settlements in the Jezreel Valley. It includes 15 kibbutzim, 15 moshavim, 6 communal settlements and two Bedouin villages. Despite its name, some of these settlements are not located in the Jezreel Valley proper, but in the vicinity.

Ramat David

Ramat David is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located in the Galilee near Ramat David Airbase, it falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 233. The kibbutz was established in 1926, and was named after David Lloyd George, who was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom when the Balfour Declaration was made.

Yifat

Yifat is a kibbutz in Galilee, northern Israel. Located adjacent to the town Migdal HaEmek and short distances from the cities of Afula and Nazareth. It falls under the jurisdiction of Jezreel Valley Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 717.

Migdal Ohr

Migdal Ohr is one of Israel's largest NGO's. The main and additional two residential campuses along with 160 youth clubs provide educational frameworks and social guidance for over 10,000 children and teenagers from underprivileged and dysfunctional homes across Israel every day. Migdal Ohr also runs community social programs, adult education programs, prisoner rehabilitation programs and soup kitchens that prepare 15,000 meals a day.

Operation Dekel

Operation Dekel, was the largest offensive by Israeli forces in the north of Israel after the first truce of the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. It was carried out by the 7th Armoured Brigade led by Canadian volunteer Ben Dunkelman (called Benjamin Ben-David in Israel), a battalion from the Carmeli Brigade, and some elements from the Golani Brigade between 8–18 July. Its objective was to capture Nazareth and the Lower Galilee.
