Rocca Sanvitale

The Rocca Sanvitale, or Sanvitale Castle, is a fortress residence located in the centre of the town of Fontanellato, near Parma, northern Italy. Construction of the moated block, accessible through a drawbridge, was begun in the 13th century, mostly completed by 15th century, with embellishments continuing through to the 18th century. It is prototypical of the urban castle-houses of the turbulent medieval communes of Northern Italy.

Centro Sportivo di Collecchio

The Centro Sportivo di Collecchio, or Collecchio Sports Centre in English, is Parma F.C. 's training ground, which is located in Collecchio, a comune 15 kilometres south-west of the Stadio Ennio Tardini, the club's stadium. It opened in 1996 and replaced the old training ground in the centre of Parma: Parco Ferrari, just south of the stadium and 200 metres due east of the Cittadella di Parma.

Battle of Collecchio

The Battle of Sacca di Fornovo, or simply The Sacca di Fornovo, (24–29 April 1945) was an engagement between Brazilian with Italian partisan and German troops in the closing days of World War II. Fought around the town of Fornovo di Taro, about 8 miles to the southwest of Parma, Italy, the Brazilian Expeditionary Force (Força Expedicionária Brasiliera – FEB) defeated German troops from the 148th infantry division who were attempting to break through to the north.

Battle of San Pietro

The Battle of San Pietro, also known as the Battle of Crocetta or the Battle of Parma was a battle fought on June 29, 1734, between troops of France and Sardinia on one side, and Habsburg Austrian troops on the other, as part of the War of Polish Succession, between the village of La Crocetta and the city of Parma, then in the Duchy of Parma.
