Prato Nevoso (or Pratonevoso) is a ski and holiday resort in northern Italy. It is located at 1480 m above sea level, in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont, within the municipal boundaries of the comune of Frabosa Sottana, of which it is a frazione, some four kilometres south of its centre.

Colletto Fava

Colletto Fava is a 5,000 feet high hill in the northern Piedmont region of Italy. In 2005, Members of the Viennese art group Gelitin finished erecting a massive, pink, stuffed rabbit with its entrails spilling out, on the side of the mountain. The final piece is 200 feet (about 60 meters) in length and 20 feet (6 meters) high on its sides. The group not only expect people to observe the art work, but also for hikers to climb it and relax on the top.

Salt road

A salt road (also known as a salt route, salt way, saltway, or salt trading route) is any of the prehistoric and historical trade routes by which essential salt has been transported to regions that lacked it. From the Bronze Age fixed transhumance routes appeared, like the Ligurian drailles that linked the maritime Liguria with the alpages, long before any purposely-constructed roadways formed the overland routes by which salt-rich provinces supplied salt-starved ones.

Col de Tende Road Tunnel

Col de Tende Road Tunnel is a 3182 metre long road tunnel running under Col de Tende between France and Italy. It was inaugurated in 1882 and it was until 1964 the longest road tunnel in the Alps. At its opening time it was the world's longest road tunnel.
