Ponte di Quintodecimo

The Ponte di Quintodecimo is a Roman stone bridge over the river Tronto next to the village of Quintodecimo, Marche, central Italy. The bridge consists of a main arch spanning the river and 2 smaller arches connecting the road to the bridge. The main arch has a span of ca 17 m. The width of the bridge is about 3.8 m. The original construction material was Travertine. During Roman times the bridge was a part of the road Via Salaria, which led from Rome to the Adriatic coast.

Martese

Martese is a "frazione" (i.e. , suburb) in the commune of Rocca Santa Maria in the Province of Teramo, Italy. </br> The village sits at an elevation of approximately 3,270 ft above sea level. The distance by car to Rocca Santa Maria is less than one mile. The infrequently used road between these two towns is steep and rather primitive. It can be found just off the provincial highway (SP 48) that leads from Teramo to Ceppo via Rocca Santa Maria and Bosco Martese.

Tavolero

Tavolero, (also referred to as Tavolier, Tivolieri, or in ancient Roman times as Tebularium) is a "frazione" (i.e. , suburb) of the Communal town of Rocca Santa Maria in the Province of Teramo. It is located in the area known as Monti della Laga and sits within the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park. The village can be found at an elevation about 2709 feet on a rocky piece of land that juts out over and dominates the nearby Tordino River.

Valle Piola

Valle Piola is a deserted village in the province of Teramo, in the Abruzzo region of central Italy. It is a frazione of the comune of Torricella Sicura. Having been abandoned in 1977, all that remains are 9 abandoned houses, a church, and the ruins of a shepherds' shelter. The village has recently received renewed interest from the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park authorities with the aim of restoring and revitalizing the village and its environs.
