Vilkupe

Vilkupe [Wolfs' river] is a small Village in south-east of Latvia. In Yēkabpils district on the border with Daugavpils district. Village belongs to the Aknīste municipality. Vilkupe has border with Gārsene. Asere and Susēja. The village center is located in the Suseja river valley . Through the village flows three rivers - Dienvidsusēja, Dobe and Vilkupe. And two lakes Vilkupes (Zuju) lake and Mežezers[Forest lake]. Village resident about 80 people, but their number is decreasing every year.
