Rokantiškės Castle

Rokantiškės Castle ruins are in Naujoji Vilnia elderate of Vilnius, Lithuania. The castle was located east of Vilnius on a high hill near the Vilnia River. First castle was built in 12th century. In 16th century, it was rebuilt in the Renaissance style and has been the seat of the Olshanski family. Alexander Olshanski, Yuri Olshanski and the last family member Pawel Olshanski have lived there. After his death the castle was inherited by Bona Sforza and later passed to the Pac family.

Antakalnis Cemetery

Antakalnis Cemetery, sometimes referred as Antakalnis Military Cemetery, is the cemetery in the Antakalnis district of Vilnius in Lithuania. It was established in 1809. The victims of Soviet Army forces' attacks during the January Events of 1991 and the Medininkai Massacre are buried here.

Józef Zawadzki (publisher)

Józef Zawadzki (1781–1838) was a Polish pressman, publisher, typographer and bibliopolist, one of the most prominent Polish publisher in the 19th century. Bibliopolist of the Vilnius University and initiator of national bibliography. He published 851 books, mostly in Polish language, but also in Latin, Greek, Hebrew and Lithuanian. Zawadzki published significant belles-letres, as well as scientific works. He published Historia literatury polskiej of Feliks Bentkowski (1814), Poezje vol.

Dvarčionių keramika

Dvarčionių keramika is a ceramics tile producer in Lithuania and the largest ceramics producer in the Baltic states. It is traded on the NASDAQ OMX Vilnius exchange. The company traces its history from a brickyard founded in 1888 in Dvarčionys. It was reconstructed in 1974 to a modern ceramics title producer. Opoczno, the largest ceramics manufacturer in Poland, bought 60.25% of the company in March 2005 for 11.5 million litas and additional 19% in January 2008 for 7.12 million litas.
