Medžitlija-Níki

The Medžitlija-Níki border crossing linking the Republic of Macedonia with Greece is one of the three transit points for road vehicles between the two states. Situated about 190 km from Thessaloniki and the same to Skopje, it also once served as Yugoslavia's southernmost exit. It is located on the European route E65.

Niki, Greece

Níki is a village situated in the Florina regional unit, Greece, along the border with the Republic of Macedonia. The village is located 14 km north of Florina at the Medžitlija-Níki border crossing. Its name in Greek means victory. The main road through Niki connects the border crossing with the city of Kozani and forms a part of the E65 route. The village was first mentioned in an Ottoman defter of 1468, where it is listed under the name of Negočani and described as having 203 households.

Agia Paraskevi is a village in the Florina regional unit, Greece. The village of Agia Paraskevi is one of several border villages along the frontier of Greece and the Republic of Macedonia with a Slavophone population. Kišava (Macedonian: Кишава, sometimes transliterated Kishava) is a small village in the municipality of Bitola. It is in the district of Bitola. It is located about 20 km south of Bitola and is accessed by narrow mountainous roads. The main road that links this village to the near city needs maintenance. It was built in the 1970s. The village is inhabited by ethnic Albanians and they are Muslim. The villagers' main occupation is farming and herding.
