Dolores Hidalgo (in full, Dolores Hidalgo Cuna de la Independencia Nacional is the name of a city and the surrounding municipality in the north-central part of the Mexican state of Guanajuato. Cañada de la Virgen
Cañada de la Virgen is a pre-Columbian archaeological site in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. The site lies about 16 km west-southwest of the city of San Miguel de Allende within a private property, already registered by INAH in 1985. The construction of these pyramids and other architectural structures of the central basin of the Laja river is attributed to tolteca-chichimecas groups.
