Huitzuco

Huitzuco is located in the Mexican state of Guerrero. It was founded in the early 19th century. Different versions exist on the meaning of the word Huitzuco, the doctor Gutierre Tibón affirms that it comes from the Nahuatl huitzilizo (thorns), and the locative co, and so means as “Place of Thorns”, because their lands were covered with huisache.

Iguala

The historic city of Iguala de la Independencia is located 102 km from state capital Chilpancingo in the Mexican state of Guerrero. It stands on Federal Highway 95. Iguala is the municipal seat of the municipality of the same name, located in the north-central part of the state. The city had a 2005 census population of 110,390 and the municipality 128,444. The area of the municipality is 567.1 km . The city is the third-largest community in the state, after Acapulco and Chilpancingo.

Mezcala Bridge

The Mezcala Bridge (also known as the Mezcala-Solidaridad Bridge), is a cable-stayed bridge located in the state of Guerrero on Highway 95 in Mexico. It spans the Balsas River (known locally as the Mezcala River) close to the western Pacific coast of the country. This bridge, with a total length of 891 m and six uneven spans completed in 1993, has been in service since 1994 as a toll bridge.
