The 1932 Jalisco earthquake occurred on June 3 at 10:36 UTC. It registered a magnitude of 8.2 on the moment magnitude scale and had a maximum perceived intensity of X (Intense) on the Mercalli intensity scale, causing at least 400 deaths in Mexico and neighboring Guatemala.
