1838 Druze attack on Safed

The 1838 Druze attack on Safed began on July 5, 1838 during the Druze revolt against the rule of Ibrahim Pasha of Egypt. Tensions had mounted as the Druze captured an Egyptian garrison outside of Safed. The local Safed militia of several hundred was heavily outnumbered by the Druze, and the city was gripped in despair as the militia eventually abandoned the city and the Druze rebels entered the city on July 5.

Huitzila

Huitzila is a small town in Mexico, located in the Sierra Madre Occidental in the far south of Zacatecas state, at 21° N, 103° W and at an elevation of some 1900 metres. It is part of the Municipality of Teul de González Ortega. It is often grouped with its close neighbour, Milpillas de Allende. The two towns are connected by road to Zacatecas, Guadalajara and Benito Juárez.

The Guadalajara light rail system (Spanish: Tren ligero de Guadalajara), which is operated by SITEUR (Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano, Spanish for Urban Electrical Train System), is a light rail system serving the municipalities of Guadalajara, Zapopan and Tlaquepaque, in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. It is owned by the state of Jalisco, and operator SITEUR is a state authority.
