The 2012 Guerrero–Oaxaca earthquake was a magnitude 7.4 MW earthquake that struck southern Mexico at 12:02 local time on Tuesday, 20 March 2012. Its epicenter was near Ometepec, in the border between the states of Guerrero and Oaxaca.
