Maltrata is a Municipality in Veracruz, Mexico. It is located in central zone of the State of Veracruz, about 209 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 132.43 km2. It is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:18|49|N|97|17|W||| | |name= }}. The municipality of Maltrata is delimited to the north by La Perla to the east by Ixhuatlancillo and Nogalesto the south by Acultzingo and Aquila, to the north and west by Puebla State. Large Millimeter Telescope

The Large Millimeter Telescope (LMT) (Spanish: Gran Telescopio Milimétrico, or GTM) was inaugurated in Mexico on 22 November 2006. It is the world's largest and most sensitive single-aperture telescope in its frequency range, built for observing radio waves in the wave lengths from approximately 0.85 to 4 mm. It has an active surface with a diameter of 50 metres and 2000 m² of collecting area.

Nogales Municipality, Veracruz

Nogales is a municipality in the mountainous western region of the Mexican state of Veracruz. The municipal seat is the city of Nogales. It is situated at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:18|49|N|97|10|W||| | |name= }}, at an altitude of 1280 m, and covers a total surface area of 77.32 km². In the year 2005 INEGI Census, the municipality reported a total population of 31,818. Of the municipality's inhabitants, 1,286 (4.67%) spoke an indigenous language, primarily Nahuatl.

Nogales, Veracruz

Nogales is a city in the mountainous western region of the Mexican state of Veracruz. It serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of Nogales. It is situated at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:18|49|N|97|10|W||| | |name= }}, at an altitude of 1280 m. In the 2005 INEGI Census, the city reported a total population of 21113. The name "Nogales" is the Spanish for walnut trees.
