KXFX-CA

KXFX-CA is a low-power television station in Brownsville, Texas, broadcasting locally as a translator of Fox affiliate KFXV-LD 67.1 on channel 20.1. It was previously an affiliate of the Telefutura network. It is now off the air. KXFX programming can also be seen in McAllen on XHRIO-TV channel 2.2. From its time affiliated with Telefutura, KXFX-CA programming was also seen in McAllen on KTFV-CA channel 32, in La Feria on KCWT-CA channel 30, and on the digital signal of KNVO channel 48.2 / 49.2.

Amigoland Mall

Amigoland Mall was an enclosed shopping mall located in Brownsville, Texas. The former mall, which now houses a tech center, is now called the Brownsville ITEC Center. The 647,000-square-foot mall, developed by Melvin Simon & Associates, opened in downtown Brownsville in 1974, with Montgomery Ward, JCPenney (which also featured a JCPenney Supermarket), and Dillard's as anchors. Other early tenants included McCrory Stores, Walgreens, and a two-screen movie theater.
