Drentsche Aa National Landscape

The Drentsche Aa National Landscape is a national park located in the Dutch province of Drenthe on the west side of the Hondsrug. It consists of the cultural landscape surrounding the valley of the small river the Drentsche Aa. The landscape is currently in approximately the same as it was in the mid 19th century, as the agricultural landscape reforms of the 20th century were not implemented in this area.

Rolde

Rolde is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Aa en Hunze, and lies about 6 km east of Assen. Rolde was a separate municipality until 1998, when it became a part of Aa en Hunze. In 2001, the town of Rolde had 3558 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 1.4 km², and contained 1585 residences. The statistical area "Rolde", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 4160.

Cour du Nord

Cour du Nord was a restaurant located in Nooitgedacht, Drenthe, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 2009 and 2010. The restaurant closed for public in 2011. Head chefs of Cour du Nord in the time of the Michelin star were Pieter de Ronde (2009) and Marco Philips (2010). Cour du Nord was one of the five restaurants in the luxery holiday resort Hof van Saksen.

Drouwen

Drouwen is a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Borger-Odoorn, and lies about 17 km east of Assen. In 2001, the village of Drouwen had 99 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.053 km², and contained 39 residences. The statistical area "Drouwen", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 490.
