Burgumer Mar
The Burgumer Mar is a lake near the town of Burgum in the Dutch province of Friesland. The lake was formed during the last ice age. It is a popular water sports area with multiple yacht harbours. The Princess Margriet Canal splits the lake into a northern and southern part. Since March 15, 2007 the West Frisian name Burgumer Mar is the official name; before that date the Dutch name was the official one). Jistrum
Jistrum is a small village in Tytsjerksteradiel in the province Friesland of the Netherlands. It lies Northeast of the Burgumer Mar and has around the 964 citizens (2008). The village has a yacht harbour that is connected with lake and lies on the Zevenwoudenpad. The local soccer club of the village is VV Jistrum, the club is playing in a green shirt with vertical white stripes, white shorts and green socks. It was founded in 1949 and the soccer field is located on the Fjildwei.

Drogeham
Drogeham is a small town of about 1,600 inhabitants in the Dutch province of Friesland. It is in a rural area of the municipality of Achtkarspelen. Agriculture still plays an important part in the town, but small-scale industry is on the increase. Many people have their jobs in nearby larger towns like Drachten, Surhuisterveen, and Leeuwarden. The most common language is still West Frisian although there are more and more people coming to Drogeham who have Dutch as their mother-language.
