Schathoes is a restaurant since January 2012 located in Den Ham in the Netherlands. It is housed in the Piloersemaborg, an old borg. Formerly, the restaurant was known as Schathoes Verhildersum and was housed in Leens. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 2004-2012. GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 15 out of 20 points. Owner and head chef of Schathoes is Dick Soek.

Herberg Onder de Linden

Herberg Onder de Linden is a restaurant located in Aduard, in the Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that is awarded one Michelin star from 1992 to present. GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 16.0 out of 20 points. The restaurant is in fact a continuation of Le Mérinos d'Or, a former Michelin-starred restaurant in Groningen. Onder de Linden had from the start a Michelin-star. This because head chef Geerhard Slenema could bring the Michelin-star with him from Le Mérinos d'Or.

Oldehove, Groningen

Oldehove is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is located in the municipality of Zuidhorn, about 16 km northwest of the city of Groningen. Oldehove was a separate municipality until 1990, when it was merged with Zuidhorn.

Aduard

Aduard is a village in the municipality of Zuidhorn, in the Netherlands. It is located about 8 km northwest of Groningen. The history of Aduard dates back to the foundation in 1192 of a Cistercian abbey, where famous early Humanists like Rodolphus Agricola and Wessel Gansfort studied and lectured. The centre of the village is dominated by the so called Abdijkerk (abbey church), one of the last visible remains of the erstwhile prestigious monastery.

Ezinge

Ezinge is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is located in the municipality of Winsum, about 15 km northwest of the city of Groningen. Ezinge is the oldest, constantly inhabited village in The Netherlands and is in archeological context referred to as "the Pompeii of the North" Ezinge was a separate municipality until 1990, when it was merged with Winsum.
