Kumeu

Kumeu is a small town 25 km north-west of the Auckland City centre in New Zealand. State Highway 16 and the North Auckland Line pass through the town. Huapai lies to the west, Riverhead to the north, Whenuapai to the east, West Harbour to the south-east, and Taupaki to the south. The population was 6,603 in the 2006 Census, an increase of 933 from 2001.

Waitakere Railway Station

Waitakere Railway Station is located in the Waitakere suburb/village at the end of the Western Line of the Auckland Suburban Network in New Zealand and is currently the terminus for most Western Line services. Waitakere station features a shunting yard, a turntable and has a small station building, which is in a poor state of repair.
