Horahora River

The Horahora River is a short river of Northland, New Zealand. It is formed from the confluence of the Waitangi River and Taheke River, which meet close to the Pacific Ocean coast 12 kilometres northeast of Whangarei. It flows into the Pacific at Ngunguru Bay, three kilometres south of Ngunguru.

Pataua River

The Pataua River is a tidal river of the Northland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It flows northeast from its origins east of Whangarei, reaching the Pacific Ocean at the southern end of Ngunguru Bay. At its mouth, the river is flanked by the settlements of Pataua North and Pataua South, which are separated by a footbridge.

Taiharuru River

The Taiharuru River is a river of the Northland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It flows predominantly northeast from its sources east of Whangarei, emptying into the southern end of Ngunguru Bay. About half of the river's length is a silty drowned valley.

Ngunguru River

The Ngunguru River is a river of the Northland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It initially flows southwest before turning east to flow into a long, wide estaury which empties into Ngunguru Bay to the northwest of Whangarei. The town of Ngunguru sits on the estuary's north bank at its opening to the bay.
