Uyo

Uyo is a city in south-eastern Nigeria and is the capital of Akwa Ibom State, a major oil producing state of Nigeria. The city became a capital of Akwa Ibom State on September 23, 1987 following the creation of Cross River State. The University of Uyo resides in this city. Uyo Township Stadium

Uyo Township Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Uyo, Nigeria. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Akwa United F.C. of the Nigerian Premier League. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000 spectators.
