The Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area is one of the 19 Local Government Areas of Ogun State, Nigeria. It came into existence on May 19, 1989 following the merging of Ota, part of the defunct Ifo/Ota Local Government with Ado-Odo/Igbesa Areas of the Yewa South Local Government. Third Mainland Bridge
The Third Mainland Bridge is the longest of three bridges connecting Lagos Island, Lagos, Nigeria to the mainland, the other two being the Eko and Carter bridges. It is the longest bridge in Africa. The bridge starts from Oworonshoki which is linked to the Apapa-Oshodi express way and Lagos-Ibadan express way, and ends at the Adeniji Adele Interchange on Lagos Island. There is also a link midway through the bridge that leads to the Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba.

Palms Shopping Mall
The Palms Shopping Mall is located on a 45,000-square-metre plot of land in Lekki Peninsula, in Lagos, Nigeria. It has 21,000 square metres of lettable retail space. The mall was built on swampland that was reclaimed by the government recently and construction was commissioned by the Oba of Lagos and President Obasanjo. The mall, which opened in early 2006, has 69 stores and a modern six screen cinema. There is parking space for about a 1000 cars.
