Evenes Church

Evenes Church is a parish church in the municipality of Evenes in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Evenes, along the northern shore of the Ofotfjorden. The church is part of the Evenes parish in the Ofoten deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The white wooden church was built in 1800 to replace an earlier church on the same site. The site has been home to a church since the year 1250 when Håkon Håkonson established a church in Ofoten.

Kjeldebotn Church

Kjeldebotn Church is a parish church in the municipality of Ballangen in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Kjeldebotn. The church is part of the Ballangen parish in the Ofoten deanery in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The church was built in 1956. It seats about 200 people and it holds at least one worship service each month.

German destroyer Z13 Erich Koellner

Z13 Erich Koellner was a Type 1934A-class destroyer built for the German Navy (Kriegsmarine) in the late 1930s. At the beginning of World War II, the ship was still working up. In early 1940 she made two successful minelaying sorties off the English coast that claimed six merchant ships. During the early stages of the Norwegian Campaign, Erich Koellner fought in both naval Battles of Narvik in mid-April 1940 and was severely damaged by British ships during the Second Battle of Narvik.

HMS Curlew (D42)

HMS Curlew was a C-class light cruiser of the Royal Navy. She was part of the Ceres group of the C class of cruisers. She was laid down by Vickers Limited on 21 August 1916, and launched on 5 July 1917, being commissioned into the navy on 14 December 1917. In common with most of her sisters Curlew was rearmed to become an anti-aircraft cruiser before the war. By 1936 she had been placed in reserve at the Nore, where she was commanded by Augustus Agar until early 1937.

Langvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Ballangen in Nordland county, Norway. The 14.36-square-kilometre lake is located northwest of the lake Sijdasjávrre and south of the lake Geitvatnet in the southeastern part of Ballangen, about 3 kilometres from the border with Sweden.
